Project Briefing

While not mandatory—especially for smaller projects—we consider the briefing a key component in the development process.

If the client does not provide a structured briefing, we reserve the right to create one based on informal instructions provided via our communication channels. A detailed briefing helps define:

  • Project purpose and content ownership

  • Color palette and design objectives

  • Target audience and platforms

  • File specifications (format, resolution, FPS, etc.)

  • Deadlines and additional notes

  • Reference images, if applicable


Service Agreement

Before starting any project, you will receive a digital contract for electronic signature. This contract outlines deadlines, fees, responsibilities, and rights related to the service.

A 50% upfront payment is required upon contracting. The remaining 50% is due upon final delivery. After the initial payment, you have 2 days to submit all necessary assets. If not, we reserve the right to halt the project and retain the initial payment.

If required files are not received within 30 days, we may terminate the contract without refund, and assume no liability for any resulting damages.

We do not deliver multiple design versions. The final result is based entirely on the initial briefing. Intermediary steps are not shared during development. Minor adjustments may be requested upon delivery.


Delivery of Digital Content

Project files will be delivered via email or cloud storage links (e.g., Google Drive). This ensures easy, secure access and reliable downloads.

You have 2 days post-delivery to request revisions. Beyond that, we reserve the right not to accommodate additional changes.


File Formats & Source Files

Final projects are delivered in standard image/audio/video formats.

Source files (e.g., PSD, AI, project files) are not included unless explicitly requested and agreed upon before project start. Compatibility with your software must also be confirmed in advance.

For websites, once access credentials are delivered, clients are responsible for creating backups and managing their own hosting (unless a hosting plan is contracted with us). We do not assume responsibility for unauthorized access or ongoing maintenance.


Promotional Use of Completed Projects

Fatorele reserves the right to publicly showcase completed works for promotional purposes—including use in our portfolio, social media, and website—unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.


Edits, Revisions & Corrections

We differentiate between corrections, revisions, and alterations:

  • Corrections: Errors made by our team (e.g., typos, wrong colors). Clients have 5 days after delivery to report all issues at once. Fixes are made free of charge.

  • Revisions: Minor changes not exceeding 20% of the total project (e.g., resizing fonts, tweaking colors, replacing secondary images). Each project includes up to 2 free revisions, requested all at once. Additional revisions may incur fees.

  • Alterations: Significant changes requiring structural rework (over 20%), such as redesigning layout, replacing core content, or changing the color scheme entirely. These are treated as new projects and will require a new proposal and agreement.


Order Cancellation

Cancellations after payment require mutual agreement and valid justification, subject to approval.

For subscription-based services, early termination results in the loss of all previously paid amounts and associated discounts. Clients remain responsible for any outstanding monthly fees through the end of the contract.


Right to Cancel (14-Day Policy)

Clients may exercise their right to cancel within 14 days of purchase, as permitted by applicable consumer protection laws.


How to Request a Cancellation

To request a cancellation, send an email to geral@fatorele.com. Refunds will be processed within 14 days, using the original payment method. All communication must be in writing to ensure clear documentation.


Cancellation Fees

Fees depend on the service type and how far along the project is. Once we receive your request, we’ll assess the current stage and inform you of any applicable cancellation fees.

Our policy is to be transparent and fair, taking into account the time, resources, and creative effort already invested.


Acceptance of These Terms

By hiring our services or requesting a cancellation, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these terms in full. This ensures clarity and mutual understanding from the beginning of our collaboration.


Pricing Policy

All prices on our website include applicable taxes and are valid unless affected by a typographical error.

For custom or complex projects, we offer personalized quotes. Each project is unique, and pricing reflects the specific requirements involved.

If you have questions, we’re happy to provide clear, tailored estimates.


Payment Methods

  • Upfront Payment: All projects require a deposit before work begins.

  • Accepted Methods: Bank transfer, PayPal, credit card, or PIX (for Brazilian clients).

  • Installments for Large Projects: For complex jobs, we may offer staged payments based on progress.

  • Subscriptions: Monthly subscription services begin with an initial payment and recur on the same day each month.

We aim to make payments clear, flexible, and secure for all clients.


Content Use Policy & Restrictions

  • Content Sources: We use original work, licensed third-party assets, and elements provided by clients.

  • Client Responsibility: You are solely responsible for any material you supply. You must ensure it does not violate copyright, trademarks, privacy, or include offensive content.

  • Intellectual Property: All designs, assets, and branding created by Fatorele are protected by law. Unauthorized use—including reproduction, distribution, or commercial exploitation—is strictly prohibited.

  • Legal Action: We reserve the right to pursue legal action in the event of copyright infringement or unauthorized use of our materials.


Dispute Resolution & Jurisdiction

In the event of a dispute, the competent jurisdiction shall be Leiria, Portugal, with express waiver of any other jurisdiction.


Monthly Web Support (Excludes “Full Delivery” Plan)

All web development services (excluding the Full Delivery Plan) include monthly support, such as:

  • Weekly backups

  • Hosting and domain support

  • Plugin and CMS updates

  • Malware removal

  • Technical troubleshooting

  • Admin panel guidance

  • Performance optimization

Pricing is shown on our homepage and service pages. Support fees may be adjusted annually.

Sites with over 80 products require a custom quote.

All web plans have a minimum 1-year contract.


Full Delivery Plan (Client Autonomy)

With the Full Delivery Plan, we build and deliver your website with full control handed over to you. This includes access to hosting, domain, and admin credentials.

After delivery, ongoing support is not included. One year of hosting and domain registration is covered; renewals are the client’s responsibility.

Once the website is delivered, Fatorele is not liable for performance, maintenance, or recovery.
